An exciting career opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to join the Specialist Community Eating Disorder Team and get involved in exciting new service developments.


We are looking for someone who can work autonomously and independently and has a good foundation in working clinically with patients. The role is focused on delivering guided self-help for eating disorders and support patients who are accessing computerised CBT.


There are also opportunities for additional supervision and training. This post may also at times require some liaison with the teams in South Glos, North Somerset, BANES and Bristol, so may require traveling to different bases.

To gather and organize data gathered through delivery of interventions to support evaluation and audit
To maintain good standard of clinical records and statistics in line with AWP requirements as appropriate.

Teaching and Training:


To undertake relevant training as might be required to maintain an appropriate level of expertise.
To deliver teaching and training for other members of the multidisciplinary team and staff in other agencies, in collaboration with or under the guidance of qualified clinical psychologists.
To assist in the production of materials used for the purpose of teaching, training and group work.

To assist with the audit and evaluation of the service including focus groups as required in collaboration with qualified clinical psychologists and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
BSc Psychology and/ or MSc


Experience of working with adults in a mental health setting
