Counselling Supervisor

An exciting position has become available for a full time Counselling Supervisor position within Supporting Minds.

The role will focus on providing small group and 1:1 counselling supervision to our counselling students and qualified counsellors across the country to meet the BACP ethical requirements. In addition to delivering our Counselling Supervision qualification twice a year to internal and external qualified counsellors. The delivery of services will be both face to face and online.

You will be a motivated, passionate and dedicated Counselling Supervisor, with a "can do" attitude who is passionate about providing an ethical bench mark.

You will work 37.5 hours per week, however some of your hours are flexible. There may be some weekend work required to meet the needs of the service. You will be required to work out of our centre for the majority of your hours.

Role Requirements
- A registered (NCS/ BACP) therapist.
- 4 years post qualifying experience.
- 2 years counselling supervision experience.
- Experience of facilitating groups.
- Experience of working with/ supervising a children and young persons case load.
- Able to provide two references.
- Have or be prepared to have an enhanced DBS check for adults and children.
- Understand the Supporting Minds ethos.
- Able to use your own initiative and work autonomously.
- Be confident in being responsible for your own teaching/ counselling space and problem solving independently.
- Deal with all aspects of administration related to counselling supervisees.

Role Responsibilities (not limited to)
- Facilitating 1:1 and small group supervision to counselling students and qualified counsellors.
- Delivering our Certificate in Supervision qualification internally and to external qualified counsellors.
- Write individual supervisory reports.
- To deliver the aforementioned services via Teams and F2F in your centre.

The Interview Process:

**Salary**: £32,500.00-£35,000.00 per year
