**Office Furniture Installer**

**Job Summary**

Arrow Group Global Limited have been established in the office furniture industry since 2009 and are successful in the design and manufacture of office furniture and associated accessories. We are a trade only company making all our sales through our network of dealers.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a team of office furniture installers based at our Midlands Hub in Alfreton. The purpose of this role is to deliver and install office furniture and accessories to a high standard, in a safe and efficient manner, across various customer sites. The role also includes assisting with warehouse duties related such as booking in supplier deliveries, picking, packing, and checking of goods and production of our own ranges of chairs.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

To ensure all goods are delivered and installed to the customer’s site using a variety of company vehicles

Load and unload product from delivery trucks and product from trailers shipped directly to customers

To efficiently install office furniture and accessories to a high standard maintaining customer satisfaction

To ensure that the customers’ facilities are left in a tidy condition, removing all cartons and packaging

To maintain a “positive” and cooperative “can do” attitude especially during problem resolution and difficult situations

To liaise with customers, suppliers, and transport companies

Stock management: book in stock, stock checks, check for damaged or missing items

To pick and pack orders for despatch

The loading and unloading of HGVs and containers by hand and/or using a forklift truck

To carry out various required checks including forklift and Atlet driving and daily pre-usage checks, HGV (where applicable) and van pre-usage checks and warehouse racking checks

To drive company vehicles, when required including forklift trucks.

Assist with general housekeeping and maintenance in the warehouse/on site and ordering of warehouse supplies

To maintain records on the warehouse ERP system

To have an awareness and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety

To have extensive knowledge of the company, its aims, objectives, and its strategic direction.

Some overnight stays, early starts and late finishes will be expected in the role.

To work on our in-house production line making finished chair products to a high standard

**Skills and Attributes**

Mechanically adept and knows how to safely use tools and equipment

Have an understanding of basic installation processes: unloading, loading, staging, un-packing, panel assembly, component assembly, clean up and detailing, lock installations, etc.

Able to assemble and fine-tune components, furniture, seating, etc

To be professional in appearance and in manners

Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills

Possess strong customer service attitude and manner; able to communicate easily and clearly, remaining polite and cordial in all customer interactions

IT Literacy

A keen eye for detail

The ability to work under pressure, on your own initiative and as part of a team

Be a team player with a focus on providing excellent customer service

Have an enthusiastic and flexible approach to work

Knowledge of Health and Safety practices within the warehousing environment

**Essential Qualifications**

Full UK Driving License

**Desirable Qualifications**

Forklift Truck Tickets

HGV Category C

**Information**

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 17:00, Friday 07:00 to 16:00.

Location: The role is primarily based in Alfreton though you may occasionally be required to work at other locations as the need arises.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
