We are looking for bank switchboard operators to work at Wells Road Hospital, Wells Road, Nottingham.

This post is a zero hour contract to work within our Switchboard, our switchboard is 24 hours.

An exciting opportunity is available for Switchboard Operators and reception staff to work as an integral part of a team in a department which is the first point of contact for the telecommunication services of Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation. This will be based at Wells Road and DMH.

Are you a person who can carry out all aspects of responsibilities and duties in a professional, pleasant and courteous manner at all times to all users of the service? Use their own initiative, react quickly and efficiently in a crisis?

The efficiency of the service relies upon the teamwork of its staff and accuracy of information provided. An experienced, reliable, competent person required for the smooth running of switchboard reception on a 24 hours, 7 days a week basis to answer incoming calls speedily and in a professional manner.

- Be responsible for the provision of front line telephone contact for Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust providing an effective and efficient 24 hour, 7 day per week switchboard service based at Wells Road Centre and DMH.
- Have an in depth knowledge of the complete switchboard function and hospital procedures in order to provide an effective quality service.
- Be responsible for the provision of front line telephone contact for the Trust, answering incoming calls with a pleasant and courteous manner, speedily and professionally, advising and guiding all day to day enquiries from the public and staff, as well as providing a rapid response to all emergency situations.
