**Job Title: Action Planning Officer**

**Salary: £32,194 to £34,452 plus a Location allowance of £1,721. You will receive £32,184 the band minimum. Progress to the band maximum of £34,452 will be via incremental progression.**

**Location: Westminster**

**Action Planning Team**:responsible for ensuring the smooth running of governance across

Data Office, including meeting management and action tracking.

The responsibilities of this Actions Planning Officer role include:

- Taking a take a proactive approach to communications, providing effective customer service.
- Drafting both internal and external communications on behalf of the Director and extended SLT where necessary, sharing knowledge and learning to make recommendations for enhancements to outputs, reports, workshops and communications
- Challenge upwards where necessary to ensure clarity is sought ahead critical meeting/decisions.
- Manage outputs and actions from meetings critical to the functionality of the Data Office, normally at SLT level and above
- Deliver high quality, consistent communication and engagement with internal and external stakeholders, with a particular emphasis on engaging with Data across UK policing & beyond
- Assist with the commissioning and preparation of papers for a range of internal boards.
- Liaise and build effective working relationships with other Private Offices, the Commissioner’s office and MOPAC.
- Managing diaries of senior leaders within the Data Office, as necessary
- Enabling implementation of the Data Office Business Plan and tracking the outputs of it
- Management of the Action Planning Team Mailbox, dealing with enquiries into the Data Office, redirecting as necessary
- Support the Staff Officer to the Director, to enable completion of tasks as required
