**Home based in England, Scotland or Wales - this role will include UK national travel**

**About the role**

As the EPA Assessor you will work with the Lead IQA and the EPA delivery team, liaising with our customers to ensure that EAL’s End Point Assessments are delivered to a high-quality, meet all regulatory requirements and uphold the integrity and validity of our assessment instruments.

**What you’ll be doing**

Reporting to the EPA and Examination Manager, you will support the delivery of high quality and compliant EPA assessment services, supporting the delivery team with planning, coordinating, and delivering End Point Assessments ensuring they are robust, valid, and reliable.

You will work collaboratively with the EPA Coordination & Compliance Manager, the EPA Coordinators, EAL Product Team and the Quality & Compliance Manager to ensure that our customers receive a high standard of service, and that processes and procedures meet all regulatory requirements for the delivery of End-Point Assessment; bringing your technical knowledge and skills of assessment and quality assurance within vocational learning and training to the fore.

**What we’re looking for**
- Occupational competence and relevant technical qualifications: minimum Level 3 NVQ, preferable HNC Level 4, with appropriate professional qualifications or recognition
- Hold A1 & V1 or D Unit equivalence with CPD evidence in relation to nationally recognised standards set by Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK), such as LLUK units 001-005, TAQA
- Hold a full clean driving licence
- Willingness to carry out CPD across in engineering, rail, Manufacturing, Project Management, Quality and Process Driven, Automation and Control as required, depending on your Occupational Competence.
- Experience of working with Quality Assurance processes
- Demonstrable experience in providing excellent customer service
- Experience of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, delivery partners and of growing business
- Experience of producing clear, accurate and concise written reports, including remarks/enquiries about results. Training/ Guidance material
- Effective written and verbal communicator at all levels, able to use a variety of electronic media to communicate internally and externally and ability to write clear and concise reports and processes
- Skilled in using MS Office - Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
- Open, adaptable and organised, able to manage a variety of activities, ensuring deadlines are met while continue your professional development
- Have a positive, professional supporting and adapting mindset to change, always looking for how we can improve
- Self-motivated, flexible, innovative, and adaptable
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently; to navigate a complex organisation
- Support the team, through coaching, mentoring and lead on sharing of information and knowledge
