**The Role**
We are seeking a Membership Services Executive to join our multi award-winning team in delivering an unparalleled service to our subscribers.
The Membership department is integral to Happiful. We look after all of the professionals listed on our 5 wellbeing directories - including counsellors, psychotherapists, hypnotherapists, coaches, nutritionists and complementary therapists - to ensure they have everything they need to connect with people looking for help. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, energetic and ever-evolving environment, with like-minded individuals who treat every customer as family. You’ll need to be outgoing, enthusiastic, and willing to provide bespoke advice and support to every member, taking the initiative and acting as an ambassador for our brand.
You will need to make effective decisions independently, often requiring you to absorb and process large volumes of information in a short period of time. You’ll need to have the ability to keep calm under pressure, demonstrate active listening and reasoning, and adapt to each client with empathy and positivity. **Main Responsibilities**
You’ll catch up regularly with the rest of the Membership Services team on Slack and Google Meet, sharing your progress on the day’s work and any interesting feedback or discoveries (and your thoughts on Line of Duty but only if you want to). Every few weeks you’ll take a turn as Team Ambassador, chairing these catch-ups and making sure the team’s objectives are met.
**You will**:
- Take enquiries from external users, helping them find the best solution for their needs.
- Nurture members, providing walkthroughs, marketing advice and general support.
- Proofread and provide feedback to members about their profile content.
- Meet (and exceed) customer satisfaction targets and team objectives, including agreed response times, approval deadlines, customer ratings etc.
- Process customer complaints, working closely with the customer and the wider business to find a suitable resolution.
- Build a strong working relationship with the rest of the Membership Services team.
- Take customer feedback - good and bad - and feed it back to the relevant parties, liaising with other internal departments as required.
**Requirements**:
- Ideally 2+ years of experience of working in a non-scripted, telephone-based customer service environment. Some experience of team motivation/leadership, project management or similar would be advantageous.
- Proficient with CRM / customer databases and data management.
- Confident and articulate phone manner, oozing positivity and enthusiasm.
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written - with spotless grammar and spelling (ideally minimum grade B GCSE English or equivalent)
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proven problem-solving, complaint resolution and negotiation skills.
- An independent, proactive, can-do work ethic, always striving for the very best for our members and our business.
- An awareness of SEO, marketing, and/or our professions (e.g. counselling, nutrition etc) would be advantageous.
