Dispatch Team Leader

Our client is a leading provider of fiber-based consumer packaging solutions including folding cartons, cups, foodservice packaging, They are based in modern new premises in Yate (Bristol).

They are now looking to recruit a Dispatch Team Leader responsible for ensuring the product is dispatched in a timely and efficient manner. The role will involve stock control, liaising closely with the Transport Planner and organizing the products for dispatch to meet customer requirements.

Looking after a dispatch team of forklift drivers and loaders working alternate shifts Monday to Friday, 6am—2pm and 1pm—9pm.

**Main duties and responsibilities to include -**
- Ensuring stock control accuracy
- Booking loads out from 3rd party storage providers
- Planning workloads for warehouse staff / forklift drivers
- Liaison and working closely with Transport planning
- Ensuring the smooth running of the dispatch operation
- Experience within a Transport planning / Stock control / Dispatch environment
- Excellent organization skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent computer knowledge
- Logical thought process and can work well under pressure
- Able to manage and motivate a small team
