Steve Vick International (SVI) is dedicated to delivering cost-saving, innovative solutions for damaged, redundant, or outdated underground pipework. Since its foundation in 1981, SVI has been at the forefront in developing products and techniques for the repair, renovation and decommissioning of pipes. Predominantly our work has been in the gas industry but increasingly we are undertaking projects in the water and nuclear sectors.

In the role of Marketing Assistant, we are seeking a highly organised individual with outstanding communication skills to join our team. As the Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing initiatives while upholding the integrity of the SVI brand image and values. The role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from digital marketing to event coordination, and everything in between.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the planning and execution of events, including trade shows, stand down days and conferences as well as internal events.
- Manage the administrative aspects of events including stand bookings, form filling, exhibitor profile and catalogue entries, hotel bookings and providing risk assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure we have the relevant equipment for our events on time and to the standard and condition required for showcasing and demonstrating our products.
- Support Marketing Manager and Technical Support Team with packing for events and supporting with the event logistics.
- Attend and assist with on-site events as required.
- Manage event budgets and track expenses.
- Source and procure promotional merchandise and clothing for events on brand and to budget.
- Assist with performance and marketing initiatives to drive event attendance.
- Brand Management: Uphold the SVI brand image and values across all marketing materials and communications.
- Support Marketing Manager with the SVI advertising schedule ensuring ad bookings are in line with the business strategy, creating content for adverts on brand and ensuring ads are supplied to deadlines.
- Manage e-commerce marketing platform ensuring engaging content and keeping pricing up to date with current price lists.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to create visually appealing marketing collateral on brand.
- Manage the SVI image library ensuring approved imagery is saved on DASH (Asset Management System).
- Utilise our content management system (Word Press) to keep our website updated with events, case studies, news, new products and to make amendments to copy.
- Successfully manage and curate engaging content across various social media platforms, including Linkedin, Facebook and Instagram.
- Produce persuasive and on-brand copy for website content, product descriptions, e-commerce content, datasheets and marketing materials.
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-potential keywords for various products and services.
- Support Marketing Manager with compiling content and writing articles for the Insider Internal Newsletter.
- Using creative copywriting skills to produce news stories, case studies and press releases by conducting research, writing drafts, and proofreading / editing content.
- Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc) for monthly marketing report.
- Manage the print and inventory of all our datasheets and product guides using online digital printers.
- Conduct market and competitor research.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing department as needed.

**Technical Support**

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee lead management from the SVI website, ensuring detailed tracking in the Ask The Expert log.
- Capture detailed minutes during quarterly sales meetings to document key decisions and action items.
- Provide presentation support by ensuring that slides align with brand guidelines and incorporate the latest, high-quality imagery.
- Provide support to the Senior Technical Support Manager with updating manuals and operating instructions ensuring version control tracking.

**About you**:

- 1-3 years’ experience in a marketing / communications role.
- Experience working with digital and traditional channels to support marketing campaigns in a B2B setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
