Are you interested in working as part of a small team which provides a countywide service for people with complex mental health problems. The Complex Care and Named Patient service provides a range of services to ensure that people in Somerset with severe and enduring mental health problems can access the appropriate services to meet their assessed needs

Your role would be to provide secretarial/administrative support to the Complex Care and Named Patient Service ensuring that high standards are maintained in terms of quality and output. To use own initiative and sometimes work without immediate supervision.

The post holder will be responsible for the arrangement of The Out of Area Treatment Panel (OATS), the Into Somerset Placements Panel (ISP), and Senior Clinical Review Panels (SCRP) and will be required to liaise with other administrative teams within the Trust, as well as staff at all levels and departments both internally and externally. The role will involve providing administrative support to both clinical and non-clinical members of the team and will include taking minutes and completing administrative tasks associated with clinical, business, and professional meetings.

This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a services which is establishing a partnership approach to delivering care and sourcing the appropriate services to support people with severe and enduring mental health problems.

We are looking for a confident, creative, enthusiastic, self motivated and compassionate individual who has experience of working in administrative positions in health care and has excellent communication skills.
