As a Senior Operations Administrator at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.

**The role**

You will be based from Knowsley but occasional travel will be required to other sites within the region. 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, with a 1 in 3 Saturday on a rota basis (Saturday is a 5.45am start until 13:00)

**What will I be doing?**
- To manage the contract administration function to ensure the provision of an effective, efficient and compliant administrative service.
- To manage and monitor administrative efficiency in terms of staffing levels, achievement of deadlines, accuracy and speed of service delivery.
- To ensure that team of administrators have clearly defined tasks with appropriate deadlines set and enforced.
- To undertake regular Performance Development Discussions (PDD’s) with the team.
- Manage and monitor performance against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Development and implementation of Lean practices with a view to driving standardisation and consistency.
- To assist contract managers and senior management in the preparation of month end accounts, budgets and forecasts
- To provide support and training where required to contract administrators and others within the region.
- To ensure contract administrators operate established administrative processes and procedures are followed consistently and accurately.
- To work with the wider administrative function to assist in the development of new procedures to drive continuous improvement.
- To ensure policy and procedures are adhered to throughout all aspects of contract administration.
- To ensure that when new contracts are won, all administrative staff receive the required induction and training in SUEZ administrative processes and procedures.
- To drive a culture of full compliance and health and safety awareness amongst administrative staff and be responsible for the health and safety of the employees within their control.
- To liaise with contract managers and senior management regarding their administration requirements and standards of service on a regular basis.
- To constantly review the service of administration including staffing levels, operating procedures and methodologies with a view to continuous improvement.
- To compile management statistics as required for contract managers and senior management.

**What are the qualifications required?**
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
- NVQ level 2 Business Administration desirable.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office.
