**About the role**

You will manage the Programme Management Office, providing Governance and facilitating discussion with internal stakeholders to provide understanding, early visibility and ownership of infrastructure and software development projects and delivery within the Nominet portfolio of programmes and projects.

You will support existing technical programmes and project teams and enable them to deliver the outputs and outcomes that will lead to effective benefits realisation, and delivery of Nominet’s strategic priorities. Ultimately your team is responsible for delivery into the organisation covering PMO, business analysis, programme and project delivery through to assisting in business change management.
About you and your experience

As Head of Programme Delivery you will promote a culture of business innovation and continuously seek opportunities for improvement within role, processes, team and the organisation as a whole. Part of the role will be to promote and discuss requirements and value propositions with senior business leads and work with the corporate business strategy function to align IT and business strategies and roadmaps so demonstrable stakeholder management is key.

In a people-led, purpose-driven organisation, you will demonstrate commercial savvy with critical forecasting and budget control experience.

You will have a proactive coaching approach to effectively manage a team of Project Managers and BAs that align to our values of ownership, integrity and boldness.

Experience of managing the complete lifecycle of a project with project teams of varying size as well as experience of project management using AGILE or PRINCE2 methodology (or equivalent) is essential. Ideally you will be PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner with the ability to drive change through consultation and collaboration and nurturing and developing relationships effectively to evolve processes and procedures that demonstrate a commitment to a high performing environment.

Strong skills in creating and maintaining project and programme plans, including risk registers, resource planning and tasks assignment. Knowledge of benefits and dependency mapping, risk management and resource planning
