User & Asset Administrator

**About the role**:
We have a great opportunity to join our IT Service Delivery team as a User and Asset Administrator based in our Birmingham office. This is a full time permanent position to provide user and asset management administration support and ensure the timely administration of user accounts and accurate maintenance of asset information within the agreed SLA's.

You will be responsible for:

- The creation of all new starters and profiling their laptops
- The on-boarding all new starters
- The processing of leavers and ensuring the return of the IT equipment.
- Maintaining detailed records in the ServiceNow ticketing system and ensuring all tasks and activities are logged and updated in real-time
- To complete daily, weekly and monthly assurance, audits and review tasks in accordance with the controls defined in ISO27001
- Maintaining and continually improving the asset and user registry and processes

Within this role you will also work closely with other Service Delivery personnel to ensure a consistent and high quality support service is delivered to the business.

**About you**:
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic with a willingness to learn new skills and processes, enjoys working in a team with the ability to also work independently. In addition to this you will require the ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure including expertise in prioritising and completing workloads.

You will have the following competencies:

- Working with a high level of attention to detail
- Working to high degree of accuracy when under pressure
- Able to absorb and understand complex requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Constantly looking at ways to improve processes
- Ability to work as a team and individually

You are able to demonstrate experience of:

- Working in a customer service role and ability in successfully utilising "soft skills" and "people skills
- Strong administrative skills, ideally in maintaining stock levels and completing monthly stock control checks, but not essential
- Problems solving and working through customer requests to resolution, understanding complex requirements
- Good communication skills both verbally and written
- Continuously improving self
- Excellent IT Skills, with good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook
