The Wales & Western region includes more than 2,700 miles of railway and we serve communities and businesses of Wales, the Thames Valley, West of England and the Southwest Peninsula.

**Brief Description**:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to work as an integral Business Partner with our Regional teams. You’ll be a key driver of cultural and organisational change and be familiar with using data insights. You will be instrumental in our drive to transition us away from tactical, reactive human resource management to a whole system proactive people-led approach to delivering our business strategy.

**This role could be based in London, Swindon, Bristol, or Cardiff.**

You will implement our People Plan, and support key activities including organisational and cultural change, Talent & Succession, Diversity & Inclusion, Health & Wellbeing, and Employee Engagement_._

This is a key role within the Wales and Western people function. **Key Accountabilities**

1. Working closely with the supported business, to implement and deliver the HR Strategy/People Plan to include; talent, succession planning and change management, in order to support the delivery of business objectives and drive a high performance culture.
2. Work closely and building strong relationships with members of the supported business senior leadership team and other relevant stakeholders. Coach, advise and challenge, where appropriate, business leaders on short and medium term HR issues as required.
3. Provide operational HR support on
