**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ability to work collaboratively on complex recruitment campaigns, providing strategic solutions as part of a multifunctional team
- Comprehensive understanding of UKRI business areas and strategic objectives to ensure campaigns align with business needs
- Proactive use of available data on graduate and school leaver markets
- Partnering with hiring managers to ensure roles are suitable for early career programmes and to advise on the most appropriate pathway for a specific requirement
- Comprehensive knowledge of the design of assessment tools and techniques; including assessment centres and psychometrics
- Ability to manage both digital and on-site large scale assessment centres
- Produce, monitor, and review recruitment data and figures on a regular basis, highlighting any issues or concerns and formulating recommendations where appropriate
- Build positive relationships with key university partners
- Identify, use and evaluate the effectiveness of a range of digital Early Careers specific job boards and platforms
- Able to run career fair activities and deliver compelling presentations to large groups of students
**Contacts and Communication**:
- Work closely with all members of the Early Careers team, and broader UKRI HR Team where required
- Liaise regularly with colleagues in the UK SBS where appropriate
- Work with the hiring community and senior leadership teams
- Liaise with colleagues in other functional areas, Councils and sites on recruitment related matters
- Liaise with external bodies as required
**Person specification**:
- Significant experience within a complex recruitment environment (in Early careers would be desirable)
- Experience of providing high volume recruitment solutions to complex needs
- Proven experience of working with recruitment best practice, ideally in Early Careers
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge of digital tools and social media to source the best talent
- Able to build and leverage relationships with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders
- Demonstrate a continuous improvement approach
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment and deal with busy periods
- Knowledge of recruitment and employment immigration issues (Desirable)
