Purpose of the Role

Our people create a guest experience that is as unique and memorable as Langdale. Our front of house team welcome and care for our guests throughout their stay providing unforgettable experiences in a luxury hideaway within the Lakes. As part of a small and friendly team, you will be an integral part of the guest experience, providing warm, knowledgeable, and tailored support to guests as they relax across our 35-acre estate.

A few ‘need to knows’
- Salary for this role is £25,357 for live out, and £22,045 for live-in.
- Live in accomodation is both off site and on site.
- Interview will be a Teams Call, followed by an onsite visit including time meeting the existing team and a tour of the grounds. Depending on your existing location, we can accommodate overnight stays.
- Shift patterns consist of eight-hour shifts working over five days of our seven-day week. As part of our training programme (whether that be as a new starter or continuous role-related training), colleagues are required to take part in all shift patterns.
- All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
- The role will be situated at our site in Greater Langdale, near Ambleside.

Our Sales Team are very well recognised by the wider workforce and we have both longstanding and newer colleagues who will make any new starter feel at home and part of something great

Role Requirements
- Always maintain a positive and friendly attitude, even when working to achieve solutions to challenges.
- Provide a swift and effective check-in process for the day’s arrivals, adhering to standard operating procedures.
- Deal with in-house guest requests, recording all feedback for seamless shift handovers.
- Support all our guests and timeshare owners with enquiries.
- Ensure the accuracy of data in all systems and provide the necessary daily information required.
- Be the first point of contact by telephone for our in-house guests may have about the hotel and local area.
- Ensure all telephone calls as answered quickly and as efficiently as possible.
- Report any maintenance issues and following internal processes through to handover or completion.
- Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of guest billing, financial transactions, and the reception float.
- Maintain the brand standards of our reception and public spaces as well as keeping areas tidy and presentable.
- To cover the role of reservationist as/when required.
- Respond to fire panel calls in line with internal company process.
