The UK Safran Electrical & Power team has expertise in designing and developing electrical systems comprising generators, power conversion, distribution and control, with developing expertise in electric motors for aircraft propulsion.

The Role

As a Logistics Team Leader at Safran Electrical & Power you will utilise your leadership experience to provide direction and allocation of work to the logistics team. You will take a hands on approach towards any daily issues that will impact on operations. You will be the first point of escalation for resolving operator issues promptly. You will drive improvement activities within the team, looking for ways to improve current processes to ensure best practice.
- Lead the logistics team, allocating work to ensure the alignment of business goals
- Daily prioritisation and delegation of tasks aligned to business priorities across the team, ensuring SLA's are met
- First point of escalation for resolving operator issues in a timely manner
- Support the Logistics Manager to ensure delivery and reporting of daily & weekly KPI's for the department
- Ability to lift 25kg with suitable manual handling equipment, following safe working practices
- Ensure the team carry out all assigned activities within EASA requirements
- Deputise for the Logistics Manager and other team leaders when appropriate

**Job requirements**:

- Experience of leading a small team in an engineering stores or warehouse environment
- Understanding of warehouse principles including First in, First Out (FiFo)
- Demonstrable understanding of HS&E working practices within a warehouse environment
- Experience with SAP beneficial
- Ability to interpret technical and regulatory information accurately
- Good interpersonal style and ability to communicate with stakeholders of all levels
