The New Foscote Hospital est. 1979, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Governance Coordinator. This is a full-time, permanent position.

**What we need from you**:
This role is pivotal to the efficient and safe clinical activities of the hospital. Working closely with and reporting to the Director of Governance, the duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following:

- Support the implementation of all aspects of governance such as investigations, reports, reporting all findings and issues to the Management team.
- Monitor and maintain the NICE, complaints, incident and incident investigation database, ensuring compliance with nationally and locally determined response targets, reporting variance to the directors.
- Work with the clinical areas to ensure that quality assurance processes are in place to meet national recommendations across services.
- Participate in and monitor audits results carried out across the Confederation: monitoring action plans, and report findings to the Group director of governance.
- Monitor the patient feedback inbox ensuring prompt actions/response to patient and service user feedback.
- Maintain records of responses and actions from complaints, audits, service reviews and incident investigations.
- Be able to be flexible in approach to managing own workload with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
- Participate annually in identifying, developing and agreeing your own development plan.
- Take and transcribes minutes of Governance related meetings relating to complaints, and incidents as directed. Generate written reports as required in relation to complaints and incidents.
- Maintain and manage the Risk Register, working with team leads to complete good quality risk assessments.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports and any other relevant documents.
- liaise with the clinical services, specialties, professional groups and
- individuals to develop and implement an effective and robust clinical audit
- Assisting with the delivery and ongoing development of clinical audit training/audit tools to the Clinical Staff.
- Monitor compliance with external requirements related to Clinical audit, NICE Guidance etc

**In General**:

- Participate in appraisals, personal reviews and work to achieve agreed set objectives.
- Participate in appropriate training and development activities.
- Cover the work of colleagues during periods of absence or peak workloads.
- Undertake any other duties as required in accordance with the grade and nature of the post
- Manage and prioritise work in line with agreed schedules

The clinic in Harley Street specialises in orthodontics & maxillofacial surgery. **Salary**: £29,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
