The Role:
To provide tailored risk pricing, to support and enhance our underwriting capabilities on all Reinsurance pricing requests by the required deadlines, striving to improve efficiency and accuracy. Bringing clarity, transparency and understanding to the stakeholders of the teams catastrophe modelling output.

The role is instrumental in meeting all MS Amlin’s pricing requests, assistance with management reports and to meet other requests from underwriters while maintaining robust standards and knowledge of best practice in catastrophe modelling.

Experience & Skills Required:

- Proficient in Excel. Working knowledge of RMS RiskLink and/or Verisk is advantageous.
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python, R, SQL etc) is advantageous.
- Effective time management, attention to detail and good communication skills are also required.
- Strong analytical capability.
- Strong team ethic.
- Business knowledge and commercial awareness.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Adaptability to change.
- Ability to build effective relationships.
- Ability to work without supervision, whilst maintaining accuracy in output.
- Wider industry knowledge useful.
