**Job Title: Manufacturing (Vehicle Components) Training Co-ordinator**
**Location: Dunton Essex / Hybrid Working**
**Rate: £28.46 ph Umbrella Co (inside IR35) - POTENTIALLY NEGOTIABLE**
**Employment Type: Contract (Initially approx. 12 months)**

**Hours: Standard 37.5 Hours Per Week**

Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering (PTME) is a key contributing organisation within company's business as we transition from our historical product lineup of Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) to a strong Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) powertrain offering.This position arises at an enthralling time as PTME Europe are at the forefront of the transformation of our manufacturing facilities across Europe from ICE to BEV, considering the manufacturing of electric motor and battery products.

**Skills Required**:

- Support the BEV training project by collaborating with our Global Manufacturing teams and the external provider to identify gaps in current training and recommend new courses that will take us into the future.
- Co-ordinate EU PTME teams to update and simplify their skills profile charts, driving efficiency with the transition to EV and incorporating the new courses as listed above.
- Assist the EU PTME Training Committee to deliver the training calendar objectives and cascade these to the PTME teams.
- Liaise with training week leads to aid delivery of the bi-annual training weeks and courses.
- Work with global teams to structure the training platform plan for each job function, including the order of training and competence level required.
- This information will also be used as input for the training dashboard to monitor training progress.

**Experience Required**:

- A combination of vehicle or component manufacturing and training co-ordinator experience is preferred.

**Education Required**:

- Degree or strong industry experience without degree.

**Education Preferred**:

- Manufacturing or engineering degree.

**Additional Information**:
This role will be based in Basildon Campus; we adopt a hybrid working approach and are able to accommodate work-from-home or flexible hours (within our operational requirements).
