Local Homecare are a flourishing care provider currently operating in the Leeds, We are looking at adding to our expanding team and are recruiting for the following role:
**Care Administrator**

This role involves working as part of a team to support our care workers, service users and Registered Manager.

**Responsibilities**:

- Matching the skills of our staff with the needs of our service users.
- Liaising with staff/clients
- Interviewing
- Assisting with recruiting and compliance
- Keeping all records up to date
- Allocation of care workers to customer visits by using effective rostering, ensuring continuity of care and taking into account locations, skills required and customer preferences.
- Take responsibility for new referrals from private customers and social services teams, ensuring full information is received and appropriate care planning is undertaken. Assist Manager with identification of further business opportunities outside of current client base.
- Liaise as necessary with partner professionals and organisations (e.g. social workers, GPS, nurses) in respect of developing and delivering holistic, person-centred packages of care
- Dealing with queries from clients and families in a calm and professional manner.
- Organising and supporting with Staff Supervisions and Appraisals
- Attending and participating in Staff team meetings
- Organising Field Care Supervisors work load
- Any other tasks required by the Deputy Manager which she/he deems necessary for the needs of the business.
- On call duties on rota system shared with other senior staff members in the team
- Delivering care in emergency situations
- Weekend work on a rota basis.

**Person Specification**
- Must have good computer skills.
- Self-Motivated.
- Flexible.
- A positive team player.
- Able to work under own initiative and prioritise workload.
- Good communication.
- Knowledge of Care Planner is desirable.
- Previous experience in a Domiciliary Care settling is desirable.
- Driving license and own vehicle is essential.

In return we offer a 35-hour working week from 09:00am - 5:00pm, On call/ Out of hours duties on a rota basis.

You will need to have a flexible approach in order to meet the needs of the business.
