**Job Role: SEN Teaching Assistant**

**Salary: £75 - £100 per day**
**Contract Type: Full-Time**

**SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities**:

- The ability to identify students going into crisis mode and follow/be familiar with their special needs.
- Provide 1:1 support for a young student with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Support the delivery of in-class activities, promoting independent learning where possible, and encouraging appropriate social skills.
- Follow Education Health Care Plans to ensure outcomes are met.
- Previous involvement with SEN Children as an added advantage.
- Previous working experience with Educational Psychology services, Paediatricians, CAMHS or Therapist.

**SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities**:

- Support on a one to one and small group basis.
- Follow Education Health Care Plans to ensure outcomes are met.
- Assist in engaging lessons including outdoor education and creative learning.
- Support young people social interaction.
- Be able to work collaboratively with staff members and outside agencies, such as counsellors and mental health professionals
- Develop self-esteem, confidence, and emotional wellbeing resilience in students to ensure regular attendance in school and active participation in learning and social opportunities.
