**Your role**
- Are you highly organized and process driven? Do you keep an eye on all the important details, even when multitasking? Are you an expert at giving advice? Can you identify with the challenges line managers face in their daily work?
- We’re looking for a Local HR lead to oversee the locations HR Activities and work with their wider HR teams to:
- collaborate closely with HR colleagues to help deliver a seamless service from onboarding to workforce administration, to employee lifecycle and exit administration
- support line managers with their leadership responsibilities
- contribute to the development and improvement of policies and procedures and Local Employment Law changes
- stay on top of and ensure compliance to internal policies and processes including vendor management
- provides functional and operational services and solutions to defined stakeholders, e.g. key stakeholder in business, HR Business Partners, employees as well as with people outside UBS (e.g. applicants, public authorities, etc.) to generate business impact
- manages relationships with other HR Specialists both within and outside UBS
- designs, implements and evaluates cost-effective and impactful processes, policies and / or solutions based on UBS strategy, client / business requirements and relevant data analyses in their fields
- Oversee the Payroll and Benefits processing of inhouse teams
**Your team**
- As the local HR Service Delivery lead, you’ll play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of all HR Lifecycle events and ongoing risk management processes. You'll be working within the wider UK/Jersey Service Delivery Management team and be based in Jersey.

**Your expertise**
- HR qualified, with either CIPD, HR Diploma, master’s/bachelor’s
- ideally 8 plus years of experience within HR within a financial institution
- solid understanding of HR processes, and local employment law and regulations
- excellent communicator who enjoys interacting with people at all levels
- proven ability to handle multiple deadlines
- comfortable with challenging in complex and sensitive situations
- proficient with MS Office, particularly Excel and Access
- truly service oriented with great communication skills
- well organized, with a sharp eye for detail
- able to stay on track, even when no two days are the same (and you love that)
- known for your can-do attitude when tackling everyday tasks
