**VANRATH** are delighted to be assisting our major client with the Recruitment of a **Scheme Coordinator** to join their fun and friendly team at their **Dromore/Banbridge** Office.

This is a part time role of 25 hours per week - £24,586pa (Pro Rata) + Bonus

**Responsibilities**:

- To provide prospective tenants with information on the Scheme and its services.
- To sign up new tenants and through induction, provide them with a clear understanding of the facilities at the Scheme
- To assess support needs of tenants and complete and maintain outcome -focused support plans. Through Support Planning, the Scheme Coordinator will;
- look out for signs of need and organise and co-ordinate appropriate care.
- visit tenants regularly, particularly those who are flat or house-bound.
- liaise with families, medical staff and social workers and housing management staff and care staff and any other appropriate bodies.
- To deal with emergencies and obtain assistance where appropriate.
- To organise fire drills and check alarm systems in accordance with the Fire Safety Policy
- To encourage the use of the common amenities by tenants and neighbouring elderly people.
- To report repair needs of the building to the Services Centre and check work done by contractors.
- To supervise cleaning and maintenance assistant staff and carry out progress and development reviews as required.
- To order and check delivery supplies.
- To ensure the safety and security of the buildings through regular internal and external checks.

**Requirements**:

- One year’s recent experience providing care/ support preferably to people who have retired
- Good communication skills.
- Admin experience - collate and organise records;
- Knowledge of Welfare & Health Services;
- Knowledge of problems associated with ageing, sheltered housing;
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, Customer Awareness

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: £22,350.00-£24,586.00 per year
