**We are looking for a Senior Procurement Officer **to join our rapidly expanding team in Edinburgh.**

This role is responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and optimizing the supply chain to minimize risks and maximize efficiency.

You will play a critical role in controlling procurement costs, ensuring uninterrupted production and supporting business objectives by securing the necessary resources for manufacturing operations.

**As a Senior Procurement Officer at Enoda, you'll spend your time**
- Managing import/export operations and customs compliance
- Overseeing the end-to-end process of international trade, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods across borders while adhering to all relevant import/export regulations and customs requirements
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, components, and equipment required for production
- Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost, and delivery capabilities.
- Managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts and agreements
- Monitoring and controlling procurement costs, analysing market trends, conducting price negotiations, and seeking opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or delivery timelines
- Drafting and managing contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and resolving any contractual disputes or issues that may arise
- Assessing and mitigating risks associated with the procurement process, such as supply chain disruptions, quality issues, or changes in market conditions that could impact the availability or cost of materials
- Collaborating with engineering teams to ensure that purchased materials and components meet the required quality standards and specifications
- Identifying opportunities for process optimization and implementing best practices to enhance procurement efficiency, streamline operations, and achieve cost savings

**The key experience we're looking for**
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements
- Expertise in developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives to optimise cost, quality, and delivery of materials and components
- Strong skills in evaluating, selecting, and managing suppliers, including negotiating contracts and maintaining supplier relationships
- Proficiency in cost analysis, price negotiation, and cost reduction strategies while ensuring quality standards are met
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, manage a procurement team, and interact with suppliers and stakeholders

Familiarity with the electronics manufacturing processes, materials, and components would be highly advantageous.
