**About the Role**

Hanover Scotland are excited to be recruiting for a Procurement Officer to join our Strategic Finance team based either from our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices. This is a fantastic opportunity to join at a time of growth and development within the organisation.

As Procurement Officer you will:

- Provide cost effective and efficient procurement support across Hanover to help the organisation to achieve savings.
- Follow best practice and satisfy compliance both with regards to procurement legislation and Hanover’s Financial Control Framework.
- Maintain and develop our Procurement HUB, making sure it provides proactive digital workflow and supports the delivery model of our Annual Procurement Plan.
- Be able to give assurance that we have effective contract management in place and that our plans and frameworks support the secure storage of all procurement-related documentation.

**About You**
- Significant experience in a similar or related Procurement role.
- Demonstrable understanding and experience of contract management.
- Demonstrable experience of frameworks and engaging with framework providers.
- A level of technical knowledge and capability to run tender projects and call-off frameworks.
- Knowledge and experience of Public Contract Scotland legislation.
