**About the role;**

This working opportunity is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to pursue and kickstart their career within the social care and or special needs sector. If you’re seeking valuable experience to be able to become an experienced support worker with children or young adults this is the role for you.

Whether you have experience in care, nursing, the prison service, the Armed forces, Youth work, Care homes, Nursing homes, Schools, Colleges, Universities, Phsycologly, Residential backgrounds, Coaching, Sports work, or Community work, we would love to hear from you You don’t need formal qualifications, just transferrable skills, and a desire to make a difference in the lives of young children/adults.

All these roles will be contracted hours.

Flexible working patterns are available for those that want it.

**Qualifications**:
Having relevant qualifications would certainly be a bonus but not essential. We need hard workers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young adults that have special needs locally In your area.

You will be able to gain a whole host of qualifications whilst you do the job through the children's residential home and also through us. We have teamed up with a fantastic training provider that has a huge portfolio of qualifications on offer for you to choose from for free

All the qualifications can be done whilst you work.

**Contracts available;**

**Full time -** Salary £20,250 - £23,350

Must be able to work five days a week, a mixture of two different shifts.

Shifts are:07.15am-16.45 - 13:30 - 22:00
- This would be a permanent contract._ Part-time
- Hourly rate £11.75

Must be able to work a set amount of days each week that includes the odd weekend and able to work a mixture of both shifts.

Shifts are:07.15am-16.45 - 13:30 - 22:00
- This would be a permanent contract_

**3 Days rolling contract**:

- Salary £27,250

Must be able to work three days on and three days off rolling rota -11-hour shifts
- This would be a permanent contract_

**Day-to-day, flexible working pattern to suit you.**

You must be able to work either (07.15-15:45 or 13:30-22:00) on any given day you are available, very flexible as to when you work. Work as much or as little as you like. It’s great for people who can’t commit to regular hours and may have other commitments and want to choose when they work. Weekend work available.

**Age range;**
- On average (5 - 25 years).

**Qualifications;**
- Non-required - Transferrable skills needed.

**Your duties will include** the following**;**
- Working with children at their homes or in classrooms.
- Taking children on vocational activities.
- Taking the child or young adult to an activity.
- Monitoring children’s behaviour and progress.
- Great communication with legal guardians.
- Encouraging children or young adults to interact and engage in activities.
- Establish trusting relationships with pupils and interact with them according to
