Overview:
As Sales & Trade Marketing Intern your role will be to assist the EMEA Sales Team in their responsibilities and initiatives.
This will include providing day-to-day support with scheduling meetings and calls, reviewing Trade publications, upkeeping profile on CRM, help with reporting, prepare calls & meetings, administration.
An exciting opportunity to build knowledge and skills across multiple touchpoints including Sales, Trade Marketing, Events, you will assist a fast-paced EMEA Sales Team in their daily initiatives and activities.
Naturally well organized, with a passion for visual communication and luxury hospitality, your proactive and can-do attitude will help the teams to successfully achieve their sales objectives.
**Responsibilities**:
Assist with the day-to-day Sales and Trade Marketing tasks including:
- **Strategy plans and calls**: assist with scheduling and preparing strategy calls, running production reports ahead of the calls, taking minutes and help design Sales & Marketing Action Plans and deploy the S&M initiatives
- **Events**:assist EMEA teams in organizing events such as roadshows, sales missions, fam trips and trade shows: design invites and schedules, scout, and book venues, send invites, manage RSVPs, ship collaterals and gifts, attend London events
- **Trade marketing**:
- Review features on partners’ websites, newsletters, and social media and add to the trade marketing reports
- Post news and offers on consortia websites (Serandipians, Virtuoso)
- Help the Sales & Marketing leadership team with the monthly trade newsletter
- Ensure all trade materials for Aman comply with brand guidelines and use appropriate imagery and copywith the support of the Trade Marketing & Content Executive
- **
Sales Trips**:assist EMEA teams with appointments taking, hotel bookings, logistics and travel arrangements
- **
Market & Destination reviews**: review compset offers and product for SWOT analysis, general market data for strategy meetings (GDP, travel behaviours, airlift)
- **Administration**: post and allocate invoices, help EMEA teams with expenses
- **
Trackers**: help tracking key wins and ROI
Qualifications:
- Currently studying or a recent graduate degree, or equivalent in Hotel or Business School/University.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills required
- Exceptional fluent English - written and verbal - and ideally another European language
- Ability to work in a fast-moving international environment with competing deadlines and priorities
- Prior experience in international luxury hotel sales preferred
- Highly organised and driven with meticulous attention to detail
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint to a good level and Sales reporting tools is a plus.
