Gama Aviation is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join the Accounts Payable Team at our site based in Farnborough. This role will be responsible for the daily processing and reconciliation of all bank transactions, ensuring that the transactions are correctly recorded within the relevant businesses, while maintaining compliance with established systems and procedures.
- We are looking for a dynamic, eager and keen individual, who wants to get stuck in, is incredibly organised and enjoys working within a fast-paced environment. You will have experience within banking, cash books and accounts processes, and driven to learn and develop your understanding and expertise.

- Preparing supplier payments for authorisation
- Processing of receipts
- Ensuring that transactions are posted accurately and within the set deadlines
- Completing the bank reconciliations weekly
- Posting transactions and investigation of any unknown transactions
- Supporting the rest of the team when required - Holiday cover, busy periods etc.

**/ **Skills, Qualifications and Experience required**:
**Essential**
- Experience of banking, cash book and accounts processes
- Experience of working within an office environment
- High attention to detail
- Exceptionally organised with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Competent with MS Office including Outlook, Teams and Excel
- Well organised, with good attention to detail and high levels of intrinsic motivation that manifests itself in a ‘can do’ attitude and reliable and flexible approach
- Good problem solver with intellectual curiosity
- Good team player, hunger to learn and confident, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

**Advantageous**
- Experience within an Accounts Payable position
- Possess or studying towards an AAT qualification
- Experience with Sage 200, Concur and Corridor systems
