We've got a crackin' opportunity for a HR Advisor to join this HR team in Gateshead. Howay, man, if you're up for a challenge in the fast-paced world of FMCG, this could be the job for you. Reporting to the HR Manager, you'll be right in the thick of it, supporting the delivery of a fully comprehensive, generalist HR service to the business.

**Key Duties**:

- Helping managers with Employee Relations queries and giving sound HR advice throughout informal and formal processes.
- Supporting the HR Manager in dishing out employee engagement initiatives. Howay, let's keep the team happy
- Taking the lead on recruitment processes, including sorting out agency staff placements.
- Managing absence cases and providing reports on site absence levels. Keep an eye on who's in and who's off, like.
- Getting new joiners sorted with onboarding, including handing out new starter paperwork.
- Working closely with the Payroll Team to make sure all info is spot on and processed accurately.
- Spotting training opportunities for the workforce and chipping in with delivery when needed.
- Tackling HR paperwork - CoE, change to terms, leavers, and all other ad hoc admin tasks.
- Reporting on HR metrics as and when required. Let's keep the big bosses in the loop, like.

**Key Requirements**:

- Ability to prioritise your workload in a canny fast-moving environment. No time for dilly-dallying
- Previous HR experience - you've got to ken your way around the HR world.
- Always striving for continuous improvement and personal development. We love a bit of ambition
- Personable and friendly approach - we're a friendly bunch, so fit right in.
- Excellent communication skills - talk the talk, walk the walk
- Knowledge of employment law - you've got to know the rules of the game.
