As a member of the Production team, you will be responsible to support with all pre-production activities required to maintain shopfloor productivity in the Rugby Service Centre. As a Production Coordinator, it will be your responsibility to anticipate upcoming needs and rapidly execute them to maintain a smooth running of the project. You are an individual who is open to embracing new challenges, eager to learn and act with commitment, discipline, and enthusiasm in completing daily tasks.

**Your role**:

- Working closely with all support functions and operational teams to ensure projects transition smoothly from order receipt to manufacturing
- Organizing shopfloor paperwork in advance of production
- Coordinate CNC machine programming in line with schedules
- Ensure drawings and check sheets are available
- Working with production team and shopfloor craftsmen to ensure all tooling and inspection equipment is available
- Be able to work autonomously and without supervision for the daily tasks
- Ensure that we are working to a priority list in line with project schedule and planning tasks and working of a minimum of 2-4 weeks ahead of the operating plan
- Work as a team within the cells, and support and implement the needs of the business in terms of operational flexibility
- Support and take part in all EHS, Quality, Continuous Improvement and New Product Introduction Initiatives
- Stock control duties for both company owned and consigned stock
- Assist other departments with their logístical needs and maintain a good level of housekeeping throughout the various departmental areas
- Repack/rework and label for all areas
- To act according to defined Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety instructions, including general and company own rules
- To undertake any other duty and responsibility as may be required by the Line Manager

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Time served craft apprentice in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience reading engineering drawings
- Experience of at least 2 years in an industrial manufacturing environment (power industry, aerospace or similar)

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Continuous Improvement/Lean experience desirable
- Desire for hands on approach to resolving opportunities/issues. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong analytical skills and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadline
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
