Cs - Experienced Support Worker (Nights)

QS Care is looking for experienced support workers to cover night shifts in one of our supported living residential services based in Retford
**. **You will be working alongside their established hard-working team to provide a great level of support following bespoke support plans. The supported living service specializes in supporting young adults who have been diagnosed with autism and learning disabilities.
**Your duties will include**:
- Follow the policies and procedures set out by the service in which you are working.
- Ensure you understand the needs and requirements of each service user you are supporting, following the detailed care plan set out by the existing team.
- You will be required to document and report any concerns which may arise in a timely and effective manner..
- Help support the service users with their day-to-day routine, always encouraging and promoting independence, choice, and dignity. There may be some aspects of personal care involved within this role.
- Attend any booked activities with the service users.
- Assist with nutritional demands where necessary.
- Encourage and take part in activities to develop life skills and keep each service user engaged.
- Must hold an enhanced DBS certificate, dated within the last 12 months or be registered on the update service.
- Must have a referenceable work history and be able to provide a reference from a UK care setting
- Must have at least 6 months experience in a UK care setting.
- Have completed mandatory training such as Moving and Handling, Safeguarding Adults, and Infection Control
