The business are the only UK charity with the logisticsand ecommerce infrastructure able to deliver this service at scale in the UK.

Since being founded in 1996 by HRH The Prince of Wales, we have:

- Distributed over £297m worth of essential products
- Diverted 32,700 tonnes of usable products from going to waste
- Supported over 11,655 charitable organisations

**About the role**

The opportunity is to join the Ecommerce and Digital team, as an intern on an initial six to nine-month period with the opportunity for it to go pernament position. You will also work closely with the Corporate Partnerships team and the business as a whole.

The company are looking for a talented individual to support the work of the high achieving Ecommerce and digital team. Reporting to the Ecommerce Manager, this is a varied and interesting role, which will support the business' growth and ensure the businesskeep thinking like an e-tailer - Focused on ensuring the site looks fantastic, product is well merchandised, performance is regularly reviewed, and the business distribute as much product as they can to charities and communities that need them.

You will work with the Ecommerce Manager to ensure that the website home page, product pages and category pages are fully optimized. You will also support the analysis and promotional activity, ensuring slow moving, low demand, or high "cost to store" stockis moved quickly and efficiently through the business.

Supporting the Ecommerce and Digital team, you will help ensure there is total synergy when it comes to the movement of stock. Raising visibility around stock arrivals and stock popularity/demand, you will also support with research into new partner opportunitiesin popular categories. This part of the role is integral, as it will help ensure that the company are getting the products that are most needed for the network of over five thousand charities.

The role will provide a learning experience in a rewarding and dynamic environment and prove a great basis from which to work in ecommerce or charity corporate partnerships.

**Training and development will be provided throughout the internship where you will be working w ith industry professionals.**

- You would have ideally studied an Ecommerce or business related degree but applicants from any discipline at University that has an enthusiasm to want to join a growing organisation will be considered.

**About Company** All training, development and equipment will be provided.
- Ensuring that every product is fully optimised. This could include updating copy, imagery, product suggestions, and accessing limits are appropriate. Driving continual improvements across product pages to maximise growth.
- Making sure that category and subcategory pages are also fully optimised, and in line with the ecommerce strategy laid out by the Ecommerce manager.
- Evaluating product performance and sharing that knowledge base across both the CP team and the Ecommerce team.
- Using the monthly logistics report to create suggestions for potential promotions and
presenting these to the Ecommerce manager and commercial director for sign off.
- Assisting across both a Wordpress and Magento Customer Management System.
- Researching new partner prospect opportunities including companies in most needed
product categories, corporate Trusts and Foundations and networking opportunities
- Carrying out research into new and existing donating companies to help the team better
understand our corporate partner’s objectives, values, and brand purpose.
- Providing administrative support for both the Ecommerce and Corporate Partnerships team
by maintaining accurate records, updating CRM, trackers etc.
- Using the trading product pipeline to ensure all teams have oversight of what products we
will be receiving on a weekly basis.

This is not an exhaustive list, and the Ecommerce intern may be asked to carry out other ad-hoc tasks requiring a similar level of responsibility and skill from time to time.
