The Conroy Brook Group brings together over 40 years of building excellenceto create outstanding, craftsman-built developments of the very highest quality.

The business has recently seen year-on-year growth and is looking to continue that growth into 2023 and beyond. As Head of Commercial, you will be responsible for managing a commercial team of three, reporting directly to the board. The role would suit anexperienced quantity surveyor with broad commercial project experience within the housebuilding sector.

The key deliverables of the role include;
- Monthly accurate cost reporting on each site. Including cost to complete analysis, identifying variances, management of overspending, and action to ameliorate before they are retrospectively reported.
- New site appraisals
- Responsibility for managing Planning Applications for sites where a deal is agreed.
- Coordinate all pre-commencement tasks prior to construction work starting.
- Point of contact for subcontractor partners
- Monthly progress reports to the board.
- Co-ordinate completion on advanced sites
- Improving efficiencies with ‘ordering costs’
- Overall responsibility for ‘Project Part L’ and the impact on each site
- Recruitment within the commercial team when appropriate for the business.
- Experienced Quantity Surveyor
- Housebuilding industry project experience
- Previous commercial management experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Communicative and able to work effectively in a small team
- Flexible approach to work and tasks
- Self-starter - Highly motivated and problem solver
