**Role Overview**

As Senior Stock Controller you will be required to carry out stock counts to a pre-determined schedule and ensure the integrity of the agreement between the physical stocks and the stocks as indicated by the Material Requirements System is maintained. You will also facilitate accurate completion of work to lists and manage short life and out of life materials to minimise waste.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out timely and accurate physical stock counts in Low-Risk Fridge’s to the pre-determined schedule
- Entering stock takes into the SAP system in a timely way adhering to agreed cut off times to support good stock control in linked areas of the business
- Ensuring that agreement between the physical and system stocks is maintained to ensure the effectiveness of the Materials Requirement Planning system
- Thoroughly investigating any variances that arise from the stock take in order to minimize the financial impact of any losses within the agreed targets
- Supporting the accurate completion of work to lists by Low-Risk assembly lines by best using the materials movement information maintained by the Stock Controllers
- Working closely with Stock Controllers to identify all OOL materials and ensure they are included on Waste sheets for sign off, disposal and removal from the SAP system.

**About You**
- Basic understanding of H&S, Food Hygiene, Manual Handling, Chemical Handling, GMP, HACCP and Environmental Awareness in line with 7 Basic Skills
- Literate and Numerate
- High level of accuracy of data entry
- Good understanding of SAP and materials accounting, allocation and transfer processes
- Ability to interrogate SAP to assist in the investigation of variances and issues
- Flexibility will be required
