**_ Summary:_**

The Technical Sales Coordinator is the primary internal contact with the customer relative to all commercial matters from quotation through delivery of the product.

**_Role Purpose / Essential Duties and Responsibilities:_**

**_
QUOTATIONS _**
- _Set prices based on formula pricing and/or factory costings, taking into account historical information and current policy._
- _ Ensure accuracy of lead-time quoted to customers in collaboration with manufacturing team._
- _ Negotiate with customer’s issues pertaining to price, lead-time, and special order requirements._
- _ Follow up with customers on open quotations and close/report on lost quotations correctly._

ORDER PROCESSING _**
- _Retrieve purchase orders, amendments and planning schedules via customer portals._
- _ Review purchase orders and enter into computer, verify drawings revisions, price, quantity, quality requirements and any other pertinent information_

**_
CUSTOMER SERVICE _**
- _Work with the team to best manage workload for production to meet customer demand._
- _ Assist in forwarding engineering information and contract drawings to customers when required._
- _ Update customer order status reports in conjunction with the manufacturing team._
- _ Liaise with customers and internal groups any conflicts or questions pertaining to open orders and quotations._

**_
COMPLIANCE_**
- _ Conduct checks on customers using Visual Compliance software and Know Your Customer procedures to ensure compliance with ongoing U.K, U.S. and EU trade restrictions._

**_GENERAL_**
- _ Prepare written correspondence to customers as necessary._
- _ Inform Management regularly about live business issues relating to enquiry and order activity._
- _ Present in daily departmental meeting business conditions and issues with customers._
- _ Work on project teams as assigned._
- _ Work on continuous process improvement._
- _ Assist with customer visits._
- _ Assist with training of others._
- _ Deputize for colleagues in whatever capacity is required._

- _Contributes to risk assessments and safe working practices._
- _ Complies with all safety policies and procedures whilst actively participating in the efforts to create and maintain a Zero Harm work place culture. _
- _Support, submit and carry out Electronic Behavioural Based Safety Audits (EBBS) and safety/CI T-Cards - as required._
- _ Challenges non-compliant employees on safety policies and procedures. Reporting to senior management if necessary._
- _ Attends safety training courses as required._
