**About The Role**

Hounslow Adult and Community Education (known as Learn Hounslow) delivers the council’s Adult Education Budget allocation, which funds a range of learning opportunities to help adults develop their knowledge, skills, and confidence so they can re-skill, up-skill, move into work, improve their prospects, and support their families.

We are currently seeking to appoint a full-time permanent Programme Lead to join our Community Learning team, with the ability and skills to plan, deliver, innovate, and oversee our Family Learning provision and other curriculum areas within Community Learning including creative arts and skills.

**Purpose of Role**:
Responsible for planning and managing the successful delivery of our Family Learning provision and work in collaboration with appropriate local partners. The programme lead will have overall responsibility for the operational delivery and promotion of courses across the main sites and in community outreach venues. They will liaise with local partners at an operational level to design and deliver courses to meet local needs.

You will line manage adult education tutors.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Lead a team of tutors to deliver outstanding learning experiences, both online and in person.

2. Plan and deliver an imaginative and forward-looking curriculum to meet the needs of local residents.

3. Develop and maintain an effective network of partnerships with relevant services and other stakeholders to inform curriculum development and ensure good outcomes for learners.

**Your Skills**:
1. You will have comprehensive experience of working with adults in an inclusive educational setting.

2. You will be able to plan strategically, identify opportunities for the development of the curriculum and promote innovation in delivery.

4. You will champion the use of digital technology and will be an excellent communicator using these skills effectively with a wide range of stakeholders (e.g. learners, colleagues, partner organisations).

**Qualifications**:

- The post holder should also have undertaken training in management skills or be willing to doing so within an agreed timescale, as part of their personal development.
