Programme Lead

Overview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen with our client, a market leading Financial Service organisation embarking on an exciting cloud transformation journey. We are seeking an experienced Programme Lead to assist with client growth utilising valuable data driven insights, whilst delivering a successful cloud transformation across the business.

The Program Director will be responsible for the delivery of multiple different technology streams internationally. These will include the expansion of global products set to meet the needs of the international market and also the integration of the technology functions globally.

Role & Responsibilities:
End to end project management responsibility for the delivery of the capabilities for a cloud transformation project and the delivery of international products

Working in partnership with the technology project leads to define, track and manage the project to ensure delivery to budget and committed timelines

Ensuring SLAs, metrics and continuous improvement measures are in place and can be demonstrated

Manage a significant project budget, understanding, challenging and proactively managing their cost and time position to mitigate potential delays and identify efficiencies

Ensure mínimal disruption to commercial business activities during the implementation process to enable a smooth transition. Identify all interfaces and independencies and oversee migration of data from multiple sources to ensure all business requirements are maintained

Identify any dependencies, risks and issues and ensure mitigation plans in place

Work closely with regional representatives from multiple global teams to ensure an effective cross-functional approach

Coach, develop and challenge the project team (direct reports or otherwise) to a successful implementation

Essential Skills and Experience:
Proven track record of leading a major technology transformation programmes across multiple countries as a senior project director or lead preferably within a large organisation

Strong project management and organizational skills with experience of managing complex projects and performance management of suppliers

Strong technical background - knowledge of agile delivery practices, large scale data platforms (GCP) and Java

Ability to define and implement KPI’s around quality, efficiency and delivery for large distributed scrum teams

Exceptional multi-tasker, strategic and tactical thinker

Ability to prioritise and adapt while maintaining the highest attention to detail

Able to shape, lead and control the delivery of complex, cross-functional projects, including optimisation of resources and delivery to challenging timescales

Contract Details:
6 Month contract

£700 - £800 per day (inside IR35)

Hybrid working - 2 days per week in London
