Robert Half is currently recruiting for an Project Accountant to join the busy team of a well-established company based in Faslane.
**Please note**: it is only required for the individual to be present around **on-site 1 day a week**(rest from home)
**The Role**
As an Project Accountant you will work alongside the Management Accountant, supporting on a variety of month end tasks.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Accurately maintain all aspects of the Ledger including accruals and recording of sales invoices;
- Posting of cash receipts on a timely basis;
- Assist in month end procedure by reconciling bank statement per timetable;
- Assist in the review of Revenue against budget or forecast, to ensure completeness and accuracy of invoicing and to contribute variance analysis to monthly Finance Report;
- Assist in preparation of monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
**What are we looking for?**
- This role would suit a part-qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent experience) with good knowledge of accounting standards;
- Strong IT skills;
- Previous experience within financial services preferred but not essential;
- Great interpersonal skills;
- Able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure;
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
**What is on offer?**
Salary between £30000 and £40000 per annum plus benefits depending on experience, plus additional benefits.
