About the role
Our Business Support Officers are very important to us. They perform crucial duties to support the teams they work for.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Assurance & Safeguarding Team as a full time Business Support Officer. We have excellent training opportunities, and you will be working within a supportive and friendly team.

What will you be doing?
This role will be based in One Angel Square in Northampton working in the Assurance Team which works to safeguard adults who may be at risk of abuse and which carries out safeguarding enquiries among other duties. The main duties of the role are answering the phone, entering data on our Adult Social Care database, maintaining spreadsheets, and taking minutes at meetings. Support will be given on all aspects of the role from team members.

Working on a rota system you will be part of a duty team to process all incoming Safeguarding Concerns. On days when you are not on duty you will be assisting with monitoring the team admin inbox, processing letters, taking minutes and all other tasks that are required.

You will be joining a small team of other BSO's who work to support the Safeguarding Team

About you
Applicants will be able to demonstrate good communication skills and be confident on the telephone. You will have a good level of IT skills with a sound knowledge of MS 365 - Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams and have a good attention to detail.
