Have you been looking for an apprentice opportunity to really get your teeth in? We have an exciting opportunity for a People Apprentice, studying Level 3 CIPD. You’ll get to work within a team at Aster that support all colleagues with our people systems.
This will be a really interesting role if you’re looking to work for a large organisation and understand how they look after their people. As with any apprenticeship you’ll be working part of the week and studying for part of the week, so being very organised will help you to be successful.
Your study will take place virtually and you’ll be required to keep on top of your assessment work and portfolio and support will be provided by the team to ensure you get any help you need.
**About you**
You may have been considering an apprenticeship for a while, but not found the right one. To complete the Level 3 CIPD apprenticeship, you’ll ideally have an interest in people transactions for large organisations and won’t be phased by using systems and technology.
You’ll naturally be a quick learner and happy to meet with people from all over the business to understand their role and how the People Team support them.
You will ideally hold your Maths & English GCSE Level C/4, however if not key skills in Maths and English will be studied as part of your qualification.
The role can be completed virtually however it would be great if you are situated in or close by our operating region to enable you to meet up with the team for face to face learning/meetings and any social events that are held.
Our operating region covers, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall and London, with our local office HUBS in Andover, Devizes, Poole, Weymouth, Wells and Plymouth.
**What’s in it for me**
We invest in our colleagues because we know if they have a better day at work, the service our customers receive will be better. The Aster Offer is our offer to our colleagues to ensure they have a great day at work and includes things like:
- Flexible working - whilst some roles need to be carried out in a specific place at a specific time, where possible we encourage our colleagues to work to their own schedule at a location that suits them, their team and our business’ needs
- A focus on colleague wellbeing - workshops, an employee assistance programme offering counselling and support, mental health training and a health cash plan
- We invest in colleagues’ careers and development through our leader and colleague development frameworks
- Defined Contribution Pension and attached life assurance
- Volunteering hours available to all colleagues to enable them to give back
- Savings at cinemas, gyms, holidays, days out, various shops and eateries and lots more
- Enhanced leave
- We celebrate colleagues who go above and beyond with a range of personalised recognition initiatives, and monthly and annual awards.
