Our client is an innovate and award-winning design and manufacturing business who are looking for an motivated and proactive Office Manager to organise and coordinate office administration and procedures, in order to ensure organisational effectiveness,efficiency and safety.

The role demands wearing multiple hats therefore experience in handling a wide range of administrative duties and able to work independently with little or no supervision is key to this position together with creating a pleasant working environment supportingan office of diverse people.

Admin / Office Management:
Organize and carry out the administrative duties that facilitate the smooth running of the office, including stationary stock, sundry purchases, housekeeping requirements, organising PAT testing, condition of the office and arranging for necessary repairs.

Help to improve company procedures and day to day operation of the business including office layout.

Ensure filing systems are tidy, functional, up to date and managed.

Filing, photocopying, and printing various documents, sometimes on behalf of other colleagues.

When required, schedule meetings and appointments, greet visitors and ensure meeting rooms are neat, tidy and an excellent representation of our business.

Organise refreshments / lunch for customer meetings by liaising with meeting organiser.

Use a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Sage etc., To produce correspondence and documents, maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets, and databases.

Coordinating and centralising IT support requirements - acting as first line provision for IT (hardware and software) requirements - following up requests for support, equipment and error or fault resolution.

Monitoring and support with annual licences and contract renewals such as insurance and equipment schedules and utilities.

Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.

Liaise with Sales Team, Innovation Manager and Directors for all trades shows to include travel, hotel bookings and liaising with show organisers.

Respond to main telephone lines as initial contact, liaising with staff in other departments and with external contacts.

Sorting and distributing incoming post and organising and sending any outgoing post.

Plan in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations, and conferences.

**HR Support**:
Support with general HR administration to include:
Recruitment and new starter records.

Holiday and absence monitoring.

The managing and upkeep of Timetastic (staff planner).

Induction and training records.

Fire, Health & Safety records together with First Aid within the business are monitored and updated when required.

Updating of policy documents and forms.

Maintaining employee records to ensure all personnel files are up to date.

Cracker Technician documents.

Recording and monitoring of review dates for staff, documentation and follow up

**Essential Skills and Attributes**:

**Preferred Skills**:
A working knowledge of Sage 50 (Accounts) - Training will be provided.

This is a full-time position working 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday - Some flexibility is possible.
