**About the College**
- Middlesbrough College is the largest General Further Education College in the Tees Valley and has been situated in Middlehaven, Middlesbrough, since 2008. It has developed from the initial main site to the vibrant campus that is now in place with our Campus Heart, dedicated Sixth Form, STEM Centre, Higher Education Centre, and further development for our apprentices in progress.- The College provides excellent facilities for approximately 13,000 students from across the region and whilst we are very proud of our campus and the equipment our students have access to, we are clear that it is the experience and dedication of our staff that make a positive difference to the lives of our students, helping them to achieve their educational goals and progress into work, higher education, or apprenticeships.- In 2020/2021, 96% of learners following a study programme attained a positive destination into further training, apprenticeship, or employment. **About the role**

The IQA is responsible for the Internal Quality Assurance of a caseload of learners participating in the Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship. The Quality Assurance will be carried out on the Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning that is completed and assessed as part of this apprenticeship. The IQA will be responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating the quality of assessment processes and practice to ensure awarding organisations standard are met.
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
- Internal Quality Assurance (IV) qualification (desirable)
- Practical occupational experience as required by the relevant awarding bodies.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving performance targets.
