**Job Title: Portfolio Administrator**

**Duration: 6 months, extensions likely**

**Location: Remote/ as and when required in the London office**

**Salary: £37000 - £42500 per annum**

My client is an international electricity and gas company and one of the largest investor-owned Energy company in the world. They are currently looking for a Portfolio Administrator on a 6-month contract based from home with as and when requirement in the London office.

**Role Purpose**:
Collates information and creates reports and insights to support strategy management processes. Ensures that all stakeholders are aware of the strategic management approach and timetables. Provides support and guidance to help stakeholders adhere to the approach. Develops and communicates plans to drive forward the strategy and related change planning. Contributes to the development of policies, standards and guidelines for strategy development and planning.

**Key Accountabilities**:
**Content Authoring** - Planning, designing and creating textual information, supported where necessary by graphical content.
- Produces information artefacts that are accurate, current, relevant and easily understood by the intended audience.
- Clarifies detailed content requirements with clients and representatives of the intended audience.
- Makes informed decisions about the best way to present information to an audience.
- Applies moderation and editing processes to content supplied by others.

**Portfolio, programme and project support** - Providing support and guidance on portfolio, programme and project management processes, procedures, tools and techniques.
- Provides administrative services to project boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings.
- Uses recommended portfolio, programme and project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking.
- Sets up project files, compiles and distributes reports.
- Provides guidance on project management software, procedures, processes, tools and techniques.

**Business administration** - Managing and performing administrative services and tasks to enable individuals, teams and organisations to succeed in their objectives.
- Assists the team/manager in ensuring they have the information needed to support ongoing team processes.
- Assists in planning for meetings.
- Sets up and provides detailed guidance on software, procedures, processes, tools and techniques for administration and workplace productivity.
- Liaises and organises across functions. Updates and maintains office policies and procedures.

**Data visualisation** - Facilitating understanding of data by displaying concepts, ideas, and facts using graphical representations.
- Uses a visualisation product, as guided, to design and create data visuals.
- Selects appropriate visualisation techniques from the options available.
- Engages with the target user to prototype and refine specified visualisations.

**Knowledge, Experience and Technical Know How**:

- Has good leadership, relationship, communication, and presentation skills combined with a good track record of delivery.
- Experience of business administration an task / activity management
- An understanding of the business area within which they are operating
- An understanding of current product methods and agile methodologies
- Experience of working within a heavily matrixed organisation, with the ability to drive for results
