Rainbo have an exciting opportunity as a Construction Procurement Specialist to offer in an established company that is one of the UK's leading global procurement service providers. We are based in Crawley, West Sussex, which is an easy commute from Londonor the south coast.

**Please note that this role will be full time working from our office in Crawleyand you must be able to provide proof of right to work in the UK **

In return for your hard work as our Construction Procurement Specialist, you will be offered a wide range of benefits including:

- Standard working hours are 09.00 - 5:30, Monday to Friday. (this is flexible ie 08.00 - 16.30)
- This position is office based and not remote.
- The salary offered is dependent on experience.

**Who are we looking for?**

You will be Procurement Specialist adept at working in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment, ideally gained within a private sector SME. You will be proactive with a positive 'can do' attitude and the ability to think on your feet and learn quickly.You will possess the ability and confidence to use your own initiative where necessary and participate in team discussions if required.

You will also have:

- Minimum 3 years procurement experience in construction including experience in the UK
- Good knowledge of the Construction industry and suppliers
- Experienced in sourcing new suppliers
- A buyer with broad technical understanding
- Knowledgeable about international trade
- Ideally experience working on projects in Africa and the Middle East

**What will I be responsible for?**

As our Construction Procurement Specialist, you will negotiate, source and obtain materials, equipment and services, achieving competitive pricing without compromising quality whilst focusing on both major projects and new client relationships whilst alsosupporting existing customers.

Other duties include but are not limited to:

- Provide clients with an offer that meets their exact technical and commercial requirements and is compliant, competitive, clear and comprehensive.
- Execute and manage supplier contracts in accordance with guidelines to optimise cost, service, quality and capital.
- Evaluate and select suppliers on the basis of credibility/capability, commercial, technical and delivery criteria against the client.
- Consult line managers with bid-tabs, supplier/logistics quotations and other key information to determine bid finalisation.
