**The Role**

Colorintech is looking for a driven and self-motivated Events and Community lead to help engage and grow our community. This role reports directly to the founders with very close collaboration with the marketing and program teams.

If you are passionate about building and developing communities that create a diverse technology industry, this role is for you.

**What you'll be doing**
- Manage our communities, including planning, creating, sourcing and sharing content, resources, and discussion topics to encourage member engagement.
- Form and deepen relationships with individual key community members. Help identify champions and partner with the Marketing team to highlight them.
- Use tools including Mailchimp, Slack and Salesforce to manage, segment, track and build engaging communications with segments of our community
- Drive growth in our community while maintaining intimacy and delivering value to all members as we scale.
- Ideate, coordinate and run community events, including webinars and in person ‘mixers’ highlighting our community, ecosystem and corporate partners.
- Produce proposals for events (including timelines, venues, suppliers, staffing and budgets)
- Manage and coordinate stakeholders, including suppliers, corporate partners, speakers etc.
- Report on key metrics of success for our community efforts and propose strategies to evolve and improve them.

**Requirements**:
What we're looking for
- 2+ years experience in a community/events role
- Experience growing online communities, particularly using tools like Slack, Salesforce and Mailchimp
- Experience handling and managing a budget
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of social media strategy and platforms, especially Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, and TikTok
- A creative mindset, can-do attitude and excitement to help build something

Desirable
- Experience in influencer marketing
- Experience marketing to diverse communities
- Knowledge of the technology industry

Compensation package

Base £33,000 - £38,000 + Performance related bonus

We are a remote-first organisation meeting up in person (our London offices) every 2 weeks.
