South Holland District Council are looking for an experienced Leader from a support environment who can help lead their new Independent Living Team to deliver a proactive service to our sheltered tenants.

We are looking for someone who will be able to drive and shape the team to deliver the best outcomes, to ensure we deliver the best service. There is not a typical day in this role
- every day is different

You will be working with a variety of people from our tenants, their families to health partners and internal teams. Therefore, we are looking for somebody with strong communication and decision making skills. As part of the role there is a requirement to have extensive knowledge and experience of Safeguarding its processes.

**What we need from you**
- Experience of working with elderly and or vulnerable people with an understanding of the impact of physical and mental health issues experienced.
- Previous track record of leading a successful team
- Proven experience of using initiative demonstrating good judgement, working under pressure.
- Skills to effectively organise and deploy staff resources during periods of pressure.
- Charted Institute of Housing qualification / relevant degree
- Experience of collection and presentation of complex information in an easily understood format for a variety of audiences.
