All the rates are depending on skill and experience

**Working Days and Hours**:Monday to Friday (9am to 5pm)

**Job Purpose**

The post holder will be accountable for the performance and operational management of a cluster of administration services in the Centre. This will involve line managing the Team Coordinators, providing leadership, setting expectations and monitoring performancein line with KPIs and organisational targets.

**Duties**
- Assisting the Head of Care Coordination in the achievement and management of KPIs and organisational objectives
- To be responsible for the adherence to full line management responsibilities within the team including recruitment, induction, appraisal, development, and retention of staff
- Ensuring referrals are sent to the correct service and overseeing the Single Point of Entry (SPE)
- Clearly articulates the expected standards of service within the Centre and monitors and identifies where standards are not being met
- Analysing different sources of data such as telephone reports, referral information, safety netting reports and Qliksense dashboards to identify any risks
- Ensure the completion of the E roster, opening shifts and effectively managing resources
- Creating an environment in which staff are valued, respected and motivated to achieve team and individual objectives

- Provides and receives complex, sensitive, or contentious information where motivational, persuasive, empathetic, negotiating and reassurance skills are required whilst demonstrating an understanding of barriers to communication
- Demonstrates resilience when responding to challenge, change and complex or difficult situations
- Delegate, organise and prioritise resources autonomously to ensure the safe delivery of the service and making judgements in complex situations eg: unexpected service demands.
- Ensuring appropriate liaison with all other teams to facilitate the patient pathway
- Utilising software such as Qliksense and EMIS to create reports for patient waiting times and patient flow. Interpreting the information and using this to adjust operational plans to achieve KPIs in regard to patient waiting times
- Developing standard operating procedures and processes for administrative systems
- To resolve complaints and concerns from patients, staff, suppliers, other internal and external service providers and partner organisations; resolving locally where possible, and where this is not possible to ensure the appropriate process is followed,documented and any lessons learnt are shared.
- Working with Team Coordinators to address concerns and issues with processes and to introduce changes to improve the service provided
- Promotes a collaborative team working relationship between the different teams within the Centre, working with the Team Managers and Team Coordinators to ensure this is across the Centre
- Planning resource in line with budget, escalating any issues to the Head of Care Coordination who is accountable for the Centre’s budget

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Degree level qualification or equivalent level experience in business administration
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to negotiate with services and present complex information clearly
- Leadership and management skills, with ability to lead and manage multiple teams
- Ability to work using own initiative and to delegate and/or escalate as appropriate
- Problem solving skills and ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands
- Demonstrates clear understanding of the principles of confidentiality
- Recent experience of working for the NHS or a private healthcare setting
- Experience of working in a busy environment managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Experience of leading and managing a large team
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
- Strong experience of EMIS or equivalent clinical systems
- Effective in managing multiple data base computer systems
