**The Institute and Project**:
The Institute for Experimental Pathology is part of the Center for Molecular Biology of Inflammation, adjacent to the Max-Planck Institute for Molecular Biomedicine and the newly built Multiscale Imaging Center thus ensuring lively scientific exchange with leaders in the field.

**Your profile**:

- University degree with a MSc (or equivalent) in biology, biomedicine, or life sciences Profound interest and at least moderate experience in the computational analysis of high-throughput data (e.g. RNA-seq), proven by a completed MSc thesis project (or equivalent) with a relavant focus Confident knowledge of at least one programming language commonly used in data analysis / bioinformatics (R, Python) and at least basic knowledge of the Unix command line Independent, reliable and structured way of working with a strong sense of quality Flexibility, high team and communication skills and above-average motivation Ability to independently establish new methods and to independently and critically reflect on scientific data Very good written and spoken English language skills, German skills are not required
