The** Institute of Anatomy and Molecular Neurobiology** at the University of Münster is offering a position in cellular neurosciences at the earliest opportunity, limited to 3 years.

Our research focuses on molecular mechanisms of synapse formation and neurotransmission. We seek an interested and highly motivated graduate student to investigate the role of the synaptic organizer molecules neurexins and their defects in mutant mouse models of neurodevelopmental disorders. The project is funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft and based on state-of-the-art methods to analyze synaptic function and structure in vitro and in vivo.
